Lisa Fountain

Lisa Fountain, alongside her husband Mark, is the proud parent of two sons and the loving grandmother of four precious granddaughters. Her family’s journey has been marked by both profound joy and deep sorrow, shaping her mission to bring hope and comfort to others.

In 2011, Lisa faced the most difficult event of her life when her eldest granddaughter, Scarlett, passed away from cancer at just 21 months old. Through her grief, Lisa found strength and purpose in founding a non-profit ministry called Scarlett’s Closet. This heartfelt organization is dedicated to supporting families whose children are unexpectedly hospitalized. Scarlett’s Closet provides care bags filled with essential personal care items, a journal, a pen, and a Bible—offering both practical help and spiritual encouragement during challenging times.

In August 2018, Lisa published a deeply personal and inspiring book titled Courage and Red Wagon, sharing her journey of faith and resilience. The book has touched many lives, resonating with readers who have faced their own trials.

Since 2019, Lisa has committed herself full-time to Scarlett’s Closet. This role has allowed her to expand the ministry’s reach, speak to women’s groups, churches, and businesses, and become more hands-on with the work so close to her heart. Through her dedication, Lisa continues to honor Scarlett’s memory by spreading love, faith, and hope to families in need.
